ConditionGood - Conditions are ideal for a canoe or kayak. Boats typically will drag on fewer than one-quarter of riffles, if at all, and portages are unnecessary or rare. Normal float lengths can be attempted without a problem.
Notes icon NotesThe river was low and slow, but we were down far enough that we easily floated through the riffles without dragging. Even with slow water, ample stops, and a backwater excursion, we made the short trip in about four hours.
