| Condition | Good - Conditions are ideal for a canoe or kayak. Boats typically will drag on fewer than one-quarter of riffles, if at all, and portages are unnecessary or rare. Normal float lengths can be attempted without a problem. |
Notes | A warm near 70o February day on the upper Finley. The water level was flowing WAY better than the stated 402 CFS was showing at the Riverdale gauge. It was curious if the water we were experiencing just hadn't fully reached the gauge yet since, from previous floats, it felt more like a 500-600 CFS current flowing. No major obstructions were noted anywhere along this stretch of the stream. |
