| Condition | Good - Conditions are ideal for a canoe or kayak. Boats typically will drag on fewer than one-quarter of riffles, if at all, and portages are unnecessary or rare. Normal float lengths can be attempted without a problem. |
Notes | Although we were concerned the water level was too low for a comfortable float, it was actually pretty close to perfect. A few struggled with shallow riffles but those could mostly be avoided. The water was moving just fine and we could have easily finished the trip in 3 hours or less except for the frequent and lengthy stops we made. This was Beth's first trip kayaking with us and Olivier's first river trip ever. |
