| Condition | Good - Conditions are ideal for a canoe or kayak. Boats typically will drag on fewer than one-quarter of riffles, if at all, and portages are unnecessary or rare. Normal float lengths can be attempted without a problem. |
Notes | The water was up from a recent rain, the weather was perfect for mid-March (sunny and 74), so I had Cynthia drop me off after leaving my car at the take-out (since all my float friends were laming out on me). The river was flowing great with no obstructions. Only a couple spots required some technical skill to work my way through them. Caught three nice sized smallies as I gently floated along with the Sun warm on my skin. Perfect conditions. |
