Condition | High - The river is high and potentially dangerous, especially for the young and / or inexperienced. Normal stream obstacles are sometimes difficult to navigate. Extended distances can be attempted, but canoe travel may not be advisable. |
![]() | We had the creek to ourselves on a Saturday due to rain falling in the morning. The water was up and flowing a little too fast for adequate fishing conditions, but we still caught tons of rock bass and smallmouth. There were a couple of tricky portages around some trees and rapids, but overall it turned into a beautiful afternoon on the water. I would recommend the area below Brownbranch for better fishing. |
Fishing | Great - 15 - 30 fish caught |
