ConditionGood - Conditions are ideal for a canoe or kayak. Boats typically will drag on fewer than one-quarter of riffles, if at all, and portages are unnecessary or rare. Normal float lengths can be attempted without a problem.
Notes icon NotesThis was a lazy summer trip with low (but acceptable) water levels. The water was clear and flowing slowly with only a few faster riffles. We spent most of the day on a gravel bar about 3/4 of the way through, cooking burgers for lunch and swimming and snorkeling. Julian paddled his own boat and spent his time back and forth between our different boats. He also swam a lot with his boat in tow.
FishingPoor - 0 - 2 fish caught
