ConditionGood - Conditions are ideal for a canoe or kayak. Boats typically will drag on fewer than one-quarter of riffles, if at all, and portages are unnecessary or rare. Normal float lengths can be attempted without a problem.
Notes icon NotesWater was nearly perfect at this float level. Had six kayaks and one canoe. Dragged in just a few places and most of the low areas were easy to read. It would seem a three inch drop in the water level would make for a float that would take more care getting through the low spots. Overall, a great day and a pretty float. Did not see another boat on the river.
