| Condition | Good - Conditions are ideal for a canoe or kayak. Boats typically will drag on fewer than one-quarter of riffles, if at all, and portages are unnecessary or rare. Normal float lengths can be attempted without a problem. |
Notes | The water level for this stretch was perfect. The water was nearly crystal clear but it flowed continuously from the time we put in. In fact, we had trouble finding a gravel bar where we could swim comfortably. Julian paddled his own kayak for this entire stretch. A couple of areas were a little sketchy for him since he was new but there were no problems. |
