ConditionPoor - River is too low to float comfortably. Most or all riffles will drag or must be portaged and some obstacles (such as slick shelf rock) cause undue problems. Avoid the river at this stage for casual paddling trips.
Notes icon NotesThe weather was perfect, the fishing was great, but the water level was pretty lousy (despite the recent rains that occurred earlier a few days before). The CFS had unfortunately dropped below a "Good" rating. Several 12-14" large mouth bass were caught throughout the day, though. The river obstructions located at N37.045881 W93.065229 have become worse and need significant cleanup to make this area easily navigable again. Portaging around it in lower water levels has become a real hassle. The second tree snarl (coordinates N37.042722 W93.072017) now has a wide easy pathway through it.
FishingGreat - 15 - 30 fish caught
