Notes | A *gorgeous* day to be on a river, so I spent the entire day paddling up stream, swimming, fishing, eating, and soaking in the solitude of having this stretch of clear stream all to myself. Fished several holes and long calm sections extensively from shady areas and utterly KILLED it with the number of fish caught. At the spot where I stopped paddling up stream I spent probably 90 minutes catching something on nearly EVERY cast (it was unbelievable for a while!). Most were 6-7" goggle eye and small sun fish, but several were nice sized large and small mouth bass. Just a perfect day. |
