ConditionGood - Conditions are ideal for a canoe or kayak. Boats typically will drag on fewer than one-quarter of riffles, if at all, and portages are unnecessary or rare. Normal float lengths can be attempted without a problem.
Notes icon NotesWe got in at exactly 1100 hours and reached the take-out point at 1730. The water level was at a near perfect CFS rate, as one would have to try to get stuck on shallow gravel areas. An extra 100 CFS would make the river condition ideal, with lots of spots having fun riffles with small standing rolling waves. There are several trees that need a chainsaw taken to them to make this section completely trouble free for the average newbie kayaker.
FishingPoor - 0 - 2 fish caught
