Condition | Good - Conditions are ideal for a canoe or kayak. Boats typically will drag on fewer than one-quarter of riffles, if at all, and portages are unnecessary or rare. Normal float lengths can be attempted without a problem. |
![]() | The water was still high but coming down. It was relatively clear but still murky. At about 2/3 and 3/4, there were at least three tree obstacles that would have blocked us at a lower water level. Fortunately, there is an outfitter at Brownbranch that does some work clearing the river. |
