ConditionGood - Conditions are ideal for a canoe or kayak. Boats typically will drag on fewer than one-quarter of riffles, if at all, and portages are unnecessary or rare. Normal float lengths can be attempted without a problem.
Notes icon NotesAlthough the water was relatively low, most places were fine in a kayak if you were careful and paid attention. At the beginning, the water was flowing well. As we neared the end, several large pools slowed us down (especially with the wind). Another couple taking out at Kerr said their canoe dragged along in several places.
