Start | Cyclone (Below / downstream) |
End | Deep Ford |
Distance | 5 miles |
Crew | Van Someren, Tom |
Condition | Good - Conditions are ideal for a canoe or kayak. Boats typically will drag on fewer than one-quarter of riffles, if at all, and portages are unnecessary or rare. Normal float lengths can be attempted without a problem. |
Notes | The water level rating should actually be right between low and good. There was still enough water to navigate, but I had to push through several low water gravel bar-ish areas. Got bit by a spider on my right side under my arm. |
