Condition | Low - River is low but can still be floated. Some riffles are okay but most come with significant dragging and might need a portage. Float lengths should be reduced to accommodate low flow, dragging, and portages. |
Notes | The water level was okay along this stretch but we couldn't get through all riffles. I wouldn't want to do this section with any less water. We were on the river from approximately 1200 to 1900 hours. Mostly cloudy and very hot (sun only peaked through occasionally) and it rained for 20-30 minutes towards the end of our trip even though it stayed warm. |
