2020-05-17 | Roundtree | Old Limey Road | Total trip distance: 6.0 miles6.0 | Good | Battlefield (07052160) | 448 | 3.78 | Poor | RSF Barton, Adam Barton, Brooke Brumfield, Josh Brumfield, Rachel Pendergraft, Jonathan Pendergraft, Laurel The creek was up and flowing quite well. Not sure if it classifies as "high" but it was moving at a good clip. Most gravel bars were covered and there was one tree down in the creek that had to be portaged around. We put in at the bike trail just downstream from the wastewater treatment plant and floated down through Wilson's Creek National Battlefield. This float is very scenic and gives you the opportunity to see a different side of the park. The takeout at Limey Road is a bit tricky since its at the end of a shoal.
