Although this was on the upper Gasconade, the river was already very large here. The first half of the trip consisted of some very large, slow pools punctuated with some good runs. The latter part of this trip was faster. The river was flowing and the water was murky. There were no obstacles in this short distance and canoe travel was fine. The level was high due to the massive rainfall event over the area last week (Wed night and Thu).
